IR dust sensor detects the dust particle concentration in air by using optical sensing method. An infrared light emitting diode (IR LED) and a photo-sensor are optically arranged in this device. The photo-sensor detects the reflected IR LED light by dust particles in air. This dust sensor can detect the small particle matter(PM2.5/10) like cigarette smoke and it can distinguish small particle matter like smoke from large house dust by pulse pattern of signal output. This sensor has the interface of PWM, UART protocol.

Laser particle sensor detects the dust particle concentration in air by using optical sensing method. A laser diode (LASER) and a photo-sensor are optically arranged in this device. The photo-sensor detects the scattered LASER light by particulate matter(PM) in air. The photo-sensor counts the number of particles and measures the size of particle. MCU calculates the concentration of particle and size. This laser particle sensor can measure PM1, PM2.5 and PM10.
